The dreadnought shaped guitar is the classic all-rounder. An acoustic that has the bass for strumming and the clarity for finger picking. The Adam Black S3 features a solid spruce top. This feature alone elevates it above the cheaper entry level models and indeed above many big brand guitars. Combined with laminated mahogany back and sides this instrument has warmth and projection. With a semi satin finish that covers the body and neck you won't get stickiness. A rosewood fretboard has been fitted to the mahogany neck. Another cool feature is the black hardware. The nut, saddle, machine heads and even the bridge pins are all black. The S 5 is a lot of acoustic for the money. If you like the idea of an affordable solid top instrument but would prefer a smaller body take a look at the O3 model.
