Volume

A Volume effects pedal enables the guitarist to adjust the volume of their guitar while they are performing. It is a volume potentiometer that is tilted backwards or forwards by the players foot. A Tremolo effects pedal can be used to produce a regular and repetitive variation in gain for a single note. A Compressor pedal acts as an automatic volume control. It evens out the level of the sound by progressively decreasing the output level as the signal gets louder and increases it as the signal gets quieter. It can also be used with distortion to provide a uniformed sustained note.
