The Modern Player Fender Starcaster Bass in Black features a thin semi hollow body. This is alder with a maple back and top. The bolted on maple neck has a 30 inch scale. It has a unique look and feel that makes it really stand out. The C shaped maple neck has a distinctive headstock. It also includes two big powerful pickups. These are bass sized Wide Range Humbuckers. These are controlled via a three way switch. Other great hardware includes a Fender High Mass bridge. Put this altogether and you have a versatile bass guitar that stands out from the crowd. The Fender Starcaster Bass is ace!
