This set neck electric guitar delivers classic tones and feel at a great price. A quality instrument that has been expertly crafted in North America. The Godin Summit Classic CT HB truly delivers on all fronts. Although it may look like a vintage instrument at closer inspection it has some exciting modern touches. Using a Spanish Cedar Body rather than Mahogany is typical of Canada's biggest guitar manufacturer. They like to do things a little different. The Creme Brulee finish on the top is pretty exceptional too. Their own take on Sunburst. It displays a displays the lovely wood grain of the carved top. The mahogany neck has been set into the body for great resonance and sustain. The bound edge fingerboard is a little different too. It has been created using Richlite. This is a composite material that offers similar tonal properties to ebony. It is far more consistent though. The Godin Summit Classic HB also has a matching Richlite headstock.

This would be a 59 in the bridge position and an Alnico 2 in the neck. These are great pickups that deliver classic tones in spades. Also on-board is the Godin HDR system. This is a very cleaver bit of electronics. It stands High Definition Revoicer. When engaged it re-voices the pickups with a more High Definition sound. It vastly increases the versatility of the instrument. Working in conjunction with the three way switch, volume and tone you will get plenty of great humbucking tones. Other great hardware includes a Graphtech ResoMax bridge and good solid tuners.
