Crafted in the USA, this stunning steel-string acoustic guitar is constructed using solid AAA Sitka Spruce for the soundboard and solid Indian Rosewood for the back and sides. Guild's dreadnought guitars have achieved legendary status over time, representing textbook examples of the breed. The Spruce / Rosewood tonewood combination used on this guitar elicits a particularly cultured tonal response, projected with all the volume for which the dreadnought body style is renowned. The Guild D-55 Dreadnought in Natural has been crafted in the USA

Constructed in Guild's new state-of the art factory in Southern California, the D-55 Traditional is a painstaking reproduction of one of Guild’s most beloved and revered models. Set up in 2014, Guild's new factory was headed up by legendary luthier Ren Ferguson, who set about to revitalise the brand and bring it back to its glory days. Original machinery was transported from the original Guild factory and has now been set to work producing guitars based on original moulds, equipment and rare Guild guitars sourced from around the world.

The Guild D55 acoustic guitar is prized by players worldwide for its rich, balanced sound, outstanding playability, and elegant cosmetic appointments.
