The Ibanez RG320Z is a longer scale electric guitar factory tuned down to D and is now fitted with the amazing Zero Point locking trem system.
As a pioneer of heavy rock guitars, Ibanez has released 7- and 8-string models in the past, and the RGD is Ibanez's ultimate heavy rock machine. Heavy rock guitars are required to output clear sound down to the lowest note without losing playability. So we minimized extension of the neck scale to 1-inch, and original tuned pickups are mounted. Also, RGD features the special cuts on horn and body offering ultimate playability for upper fret access.
RGD models feature extra-long 26.5" necks and arrive with full-step down factory tuning. Original CAP-VK pickups are mounted and ready to ride. A lot of metal players hold their guitars low and the sharp-shaped RGD body achieves good balance and easier access to high frets for low-slingers.
