The Hagstrom HL550 electric guitar features a contoured Ply Mahogany top. The guitar's set neck is topped with a resonantor wood fingerboard. The neck also features Hagstrom's patented H-Expander truss rod. This provides tension at either end and runs the entire length of the neck. It allows for a very low action and a thin neck, two of the factors that gain Hagstrom it's reputation for the world's fastest playing guitars! The Hagstrom Custom 60 Alnico 5 pickups have enhanced output and crisp highs.
