The Ibanez Artwood Vintage series now showcases another vintage element by applying an "aging" process to the tonewood : "Thermo Aged™" tone wood, made by a special drying process at a high temperature which is commonly known as "baking" or "torrefaction." The Ibanez AVD16LTD is a stunning instrument for the money. It embarrasses some guitars that are three times the price it's that good! Ibanez have used some top specification woods to deliver this great performance. A Thermo Aged Solid Sitka Spruce top and Solid Indian Rosewood back and sides. The Thermo Top delivers a huge frequency range. A seriously impressive chunk of bone has been slotted in for the saddle. Gotoh tuners have been installed for increased tuning accuracy. The Ibanez AVD16LTD also includes a Hard Case for transportation  and protection.
