The Orange Rockerverb 50 MKIII Head features 2 channels and footswitchable attenuator.

Probably the most immediate upgrade on this guitar amp head is the inclusion of an attenuator. This means the Orange Rockerverb 50 MkIII head can saturate its power tubes. It can do this without blowing the windows out! It has been installed after the master volume controls. What this equates to is more control over how the amp distorts post preamp. Even at lower volumes this MK3 amplifier remains responsive. As well as attenuation you can select the power output. In Half Power mode the output is reduced to 25 watts. Perfect for playing at lower volumes. You get 2 separate channels. Clean and Dirty. The Dirty channel has plenty of range. Going from crunch right through to modern high gain. The Orange Rockerverb 50 watt head has been given an improved clean channel. It delivery a crisp and sparkly tone. The two band EQ system has been reworked for greater response.

The MKIII comes with a Valve Driven Reverb and Valve buffered Effects Loop.

The ensure the best sound on your guitar effects it comes with a Valve Buffered Effects Loop. This is particularly useful to guitarists who use a lot of effects. It is transparent and includes a single 12AT7/Ecc81. The Orange Rockerverb MKIII Head comes with a valve driven reverb. This has also been improved for 2015. It is lush and rich sounding. Very usable it ranges from light to full on surf. It contains a single 12AT7/Ecc81 valve and a custom transformer.
