Reverend Charger HB Gunmetal with Roasted Maple neck

Want a top specification humbucker electric at a very good price? You have to check out the Reverend Charger HB. It comes with a solid Korina wood body. Not the norm for an instrument at this price level. The body has a gloss Gunmetal finish. The Roasted Maple neck has a medium oval profile and 12" radius fingerboard. Roasted Maple is normally used on custom shop and high-end boutique built guitars. Reverend have brought this material to a price bracket never seen before. This is the smoothest, silkiest neck you will ever feel. Trust us! The Roasted Maple that Reverend have used has been kiln dried to remove most of the moisture. This results in a neck resistant to temperature and humidity. The advantages also include stability and increased resonance. Tuning is very stable thanks to the fixed bridge, locking machine heads and Boneite nut. Again, this is great tried and tested hardware. Great for sustain and tuning stability.

Two humbucker pickups and Bass Contour.

The Reverend Charger HB fires on all cylinders. The two pickups are Reverend’s own HA5 hubuckers. The bridge has slightly more output than a vintage PAF. The neck position delivers more clarity. They have been wired to a three way switch. What really makes the Charger versatile is the Bass Contour control. This rolls off a particular frequency of bass. It thins out the sound gradually. Almost like a coil tap but with more versatility. You also get a master tone and volume.
