With a beauty more than skin deep, this all-wood uke has a slightly arched back for extra projection, giving it volume which belies its size. Geared tuners ensure that it stays in tune, with accurate tuning adjustments a far cry from the friction tuners on many ukuleles. The Concert model is tuned the same as the soprano model, but with a slightly bigger body and more frets (17). This gives it more volume and an extra level of versatility, allowing the execution of pieces with higher notes.
