• If you need to try before you buy, follow the instructions below to make an appointment.
• If you already know exactly what you need, simply pop by the store during opening hours and give us a knock to be served.
We have really been overwhelmed by the level of support we have received from all our loyal customers over the past year. A massive thanks, in particular, to our local customers who moved their purchases online in the interests of public safety.
We’re very pleased to announce that, based on the latest guidance, our physical store is OPEN for appointments from Monday 26th April.
How do appointments work
If you’re interested in buying a guitar, amp, pedal, or any other gear, but would prefer to try it first, the first thing to do is get in contact by email or phone (0141 552 6290), detailing which items you would like to try. Please don’t hesitate to ask if you are unsure which items would be beneficial to compare; we will be happy to put together a few similar products so that you can make an informed decision.
We will be allowing a maximum of two members of the same household per appointment group. Please let us know in advance whether there will be one or two people in your group.
We will then book you in for a half-hour appointment at a convenient time (during normal store opening hours). Before your arrival, we will thoroughly disinfect any items of gear you are booked in to try, so that you can be confident for your own safety. Similarly, we will have hand sanitiser available, and will ask every customer to thoroughly sanitise their hands before handling any gear.
We are limiting appointments to a maximum of half an hour. This is to give as many customers as possible a chance to try out gear, while having as few customers in the shop as possible at any one time.
What if I already know exactly what I want?
This makes things a lot easier! All you will need to do, in this instance, is pop by the store (again, during normal opening hours) and let us know you’re here. We will let you in and ask you to wait at the counter. A member of staff will grab what you need from the shop floor and process the sale for you, thus minimising any unnecessary contact.
The only exception to this is if you are purchasing a guitar or other larger item which may need to be set up or packaged before it leaves the shop. In this instance, please get in contact before travelling so that we can have the item ready to go when you arrive.
For the safety of our staff and customers, we will only be allowing a maximum of five customers in the shop at one time (including appointment customers). We would ask for your patience if you are the sixth or seventh customer, and have to wait outside for a short period. We also thank you for your help in maintaining a safe distance between staff and other customers while in the shop or waiting outside.
It goes without saying that you should not visit the shop if you are feeling at all unwell.
Again, just to say a massive thank you to our awesome customers for your support and patience. The past few months have been a rollercoaster for us all. We are grateful that we are coming out the other end now, and are looking forward to welcoming you back in the store.
