This new Seagull Excursion Series sets a new benchmark in value for money for North American made acoustic guitars. The new Excursion series offers the same outstanding build quality that Seagull are famed for at a price you would not believe.
These instruments feature a body made from Canadian Wild Cherry which is a 3-layer lamination of real hardwood. This offers a superb tone straight out of the box that is both powerful and articulate. This lamination also means these guitars are incredibly strong! The slim necks are made from Silver Leaf Maple and fit perfectly against the body at the correct angle. The fretboards are a choice piece of Indian Rosewood with perfectly finished frets. Each guitar features a custom polished finish which is neither satin nor gloss but somewhere in between and feels lovely in your hands. Quality nuts and saddles from Tusq and high quality 14:1 ratio tuning machines show that these are not ‘entry level’ spec guitars. Their unique burn stamped rosettes feature the inscription “Handcrafted in the village of Princeville Quebec Canada”, a nice reminder that you’re playing a Canadian built guitar that feels, sounds and looks at lot more than it costs!
