Hagstrom

Hagstrom Guitars and basses originated in Sweden in the late 1950s. Originally manufacturing accordions, Hagstrom transferred some of those finishing techniques to guitars. For sale online at Guitar.co.u kand in our Glasgow shop. Fast UK dispatch and delivery.

Early models include the classic Viking semi acoustic and an 8 string bass. The Swede and Super Swede electric solid body guitars were also early models and still exist today. After production stopped in 1983 Hagstrom became instantly collectable. Today, Hagstrom are back in production in the Far East manufacturing to the highest of standards. They literally decamped all their original machines and tools to a new factory use only the finest parts sourced from American and Korean suppliers. All the wood for the guitars originates from America. This has allowed Hagstrom to produce guitars and basses virtually the same as the originals with a few modern twists. These include the use of Resinator fingerboards for increased sustain and the H-Expander Truss Rod. Classy looks and excellent features, Hagstrom guitars are well worth a look.
