The Fender American Professional II Precision Bass is here presented in Olympic White with Rosewood fretboard and 4-ply tortoiseshell pickguard. Comprehensively overhauled from the previous American Professional Precision Bass, this latest generation is a worthy addition to Fender’s new range of US-made American Pro II instruments. Upgrades include rolled fretboard edges, a new “Super-Natural” satin neck finish, sculpted neck heel and a reworked V-Mod II split-coil pickup. It comes supplied in a Fender Deluxe Moulded Hardcase.

V-MOD II PICKUP: The V-Mod II Precision Bass pickup is a modified version of Fender’s classic vintage pickup design. Packed with the fundamental Fender bass sound you know and love, this split-coil pickup delivers the vintage warmth, punch and clarity that made Fender a legend.

NEW SCULPTED NECK HEEL: The rounded neck heel and bevelled neck-plate improve access to the upper register and make leads easy and comfortable.

HMV BRIDGE: This precision manufactured string-through or top load bridge adds sustain, resonance and improved attack thanks to a cold-rolled steel baseplate, high mass brass backstop, and chrome-plated brass saddles.

’63 P BASS® NECK PROFILE WITH ROLLED FINGERBOARD EDGES: Considered by many to be the gold standard of bass neck profiles, American Professional II Precision Bass guitars use the ‘63 P Bass® neck profile. The hand-rolled fingerboard edges and Super-Natural satin finish provide a supremely comfortable feel.

TAPERED-SHAFT TUNING MACHINES: Wider at the top than the bottom, the fluted shafts force the string windings downward and keep them tight, resulting in a sharper and consistent break angle over the nut, creating increased sustain and better tuning stability.

ALDER BODY: Alder is a classic Fender tonewood with a balanced sound perfect for almost any genre.

POSIFLEX™ GRAPHITE RODS: All American Professional bass necks incorporate Posiflex graphite rods to reinforce against movement that can occur with fluctuations in the climate. Embedded beneath the fingerboard, they improve reliability on the road, in the studio or in your home.
