The Fender Bassbreaker 007 Combo is not an expensive amp but it is a brilliant sounding one. It is exceptional value for money. It is built around a pair of 12AX7 preamp and one EL84 power tubes, so delivers 7 watts of Class A amplification. Control wise it includes Gain, Bass, Middle, Treble and Master Volume. A small Treble Boost Button kicks in more gain when you need it. Fender Amps aren't normally known for their overdrive but we can confirm though that the Fender Bassbreaker 007 Combo is a strong performer in the clean and overdrive departments. The gain on this little beast is powerful and punchy. If you need higher clean headroom then it might be worth looking at the 15 Watt combo.
