The Fender MIJ Boxer Series Stratocaster HH in Sherwood Green Metallic revives a classic 80s Fender Japan model, and is even built in the original factory for complete authenticity. With the stunning fit, finish and playability for which Fender MIJ models are renowned, this guitar is highly versatile thanks to its twin Boxer humbuckers, which also have a single-coil mode. Black hardware, headstock and pickguard produce a very clean, modern look, while a 2-Point Synchronized Tremolo has been fitted, keeping the feel authentically Strat. Quality Gotoh machines are a joy to use, and a padded gig bag is included.

This Ex Demo example no longer has its factory protective pickguard film, and comes in a slightly worn box. We will double box it for shipping. It is still brand new and covered by its full Fender warranty for your peace of mind. As with every guitar we sell, it will receive a full professional setup before it goes out the door. The Boxer Stratocaster first appeared in the Fender Japan catalogue back in the mid-‘80s as part of a contemporary, high-performance range of instruments. A new run of these instruments has been made available from the original factory, initially limited to just 125 of each colourway in 2020 (Inca Silver and Sherwood Green Metallic).

Featuring high-output humbucking pickups, a Medium “C” neck with 12” radius rosewood fingerboard and jumbo frets, black painted headstock and black hardware, the Boxer Stratocaster® HH delivers Super-Strat playability, versatile humbucking and single-coil tones and high-contrast style.
