The Fender MIJ Limited Edition Jazz Bass in Black Paisley is a highly limited model, with only 100 units allocated to the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region. The stunning Black Paisley body is complemented by a 3-Ply Black Pickguard and Maple fretboard, bound in black and inlayed with black blocks. A “U” Shape neck is combined with a 9.5” fretboard radius and Vintage frets for a perfect combination of traditional feel and modern playability. The build quality is achingly good, as we’ve come to expect from Fender’s Made in Japan instruments.

This bass’s foundation is an American Basswood body, a light and musical tone wood to which is bolted a “U” Shape maple neck for a slightly chunkier feel in the hand. The modern 9.5” radius fretboard is fitted with Vintage frets, providing just the right combination of up-to-date playability and old-school feel. Those black block inlays look just right on a Jazz Bass too, complemented by black fretboard binding.

Twin Vintage-Style '60s Single-Coil Jazz Bass pickups provide the tonal powerhouse. Both effortlessly punchy and articulate, these pickups are perfect for the more technical playing for which the Jazz Bass was conceived. They are controlled via separate volume controls and a master tone control.
