Made in Japan as part of FGN’s J Standard series, this guitar features a five-piece maple / walnut neck and push-pull coil tap built into the tone pot. Unique features include the FGN Circle Fretting System (C.F.S.) and handmade fret edges. Seymour Duncan Sentient and Nazgul pickups provide heavy, articulate tone.

This modified Strat-style Mythic model features an Ash body with carved top and open pore finish. Designed for metal players, its 5-piece maple and walnut neck is lightning fast, while FGN’s painstakingly hand-finished frets allow super-smooth fingering. Unique to FGN guitars is the Circle Fretting System (C.F.S.). Slightly curved frets are mounted so as to ensure that each string and fret intersects at right angles, minimising the contact surface. The result is accurate pitch, cleaner, longer sustain and true harmonics.

The J Standard Mythic JMY-Ash-M is fitted with Gotoh SG381-07 MG-T locking tuners, resulting in silky tuning action, superb tuning stability, and easy string changes. Twin Seymour Duncan pickups - a Sentient in the neck and Nazgûl in the bridge - are masterpieces of pickup design, facilitating the heaviest of tone, while remaining articulate and highly responsive.
