This stunning Freshman FA400DCE electro-acoustic dreadnought with cutaway is presented for sale in outstanding second hand condition. This guitar features a beautiful AAA Grade Engelmann Spruce soundboard, paired with solid Rosewood Back and sides. This well-loved tonewood combination is becoming increasingly rare due to CITES restrictions on Rosewood, and boy do we miss it! This particular guitar has been upgraded to an LR Baggs Element pickup, which itself retails at around the £150 mark before fitment.

Freshman FA400DCE with upgraded LR Baggs Pickup and Deluxe Hard Case

This Freshman starts out with a classic dreadnought body, and adds a cutaway for improved upper-fret access. Having had time to open up a bit, this is a loud guitar - volume which is injected with stunning tone thanks to the classic rosewood and spruce tonewood combination. The Mahogany neck further contributes to the body's overall resonance. The body is bound in solid Canadian maple, giving it a premium look, borne out by the deep gloss finish and mahogany-strip rosette.

In terms of hardware, high quality Gold Grover tuners ensure it stays solidly in tune, and are finished with black buttons for an elegant look. The LR Baggs Element pickup is a worthy upgrade for a guitar which sounds so good acoustically, and features discreet soundhole controls for volume and tone.

The guitar is in excellent condition with very few marks - commensurate with careful use.
