This model features a thin single-cutaway body. Its 24.625 inch scale neck is topped with Gordon Smith’s signature brass nut. It has Gordon Smith's thin profile neck which is also fitted with a Roasted Flamed Maple fretboard. The GS1-60 is comfortable to play sitting or standing. It's reassuringly weighty without being too heavy.

Single Dog Ear P90 pickup, Brass Nut and Gotoh Bridge

The Gordon Smith GS1-60 Shell Pink comes with its own great quality hardware. There is one Gordon Smith Dog Ear P-90 single-coil pickup in the bridge position. Volume and Tone controls are included, resulting in a pure and simple control interface which suits the character of the guitar perfectly. The brass nut is a Gordon Smith signature touch, contributing to the guitar’s excellent sustain. The 6-saddle Gotoh 510 bridge is of a very high quality, ensuring perfect intonation.
