The Guild Polara Deluxe is here presented in hand-sprayed Vintage Sunburst finish with bound Indian Rosewood fretboard. This classic solid body electric guitar is fitted with twin Guild HB-2+ humbucking pickups, which produce a huge variety of tones thanks to push/pull coil splitting. The strings-through-body design and Tune-O-Matic bridge ensure outstanding sustain and great intonation.

Guild Polara Deluxe in Vintage Sunburst

The Polara Deluxe features multiple upgrades, delivering classic aesthetics that recall 1970s design elements with modern enhancements. These include a bound rosewood fingerboard with block inlays, Guild Peak and Chesterfield headstock inlays, Guild compensated stopbar tailpiece, and colour options ranging from classic transparent to modern metallic.

The HB-2+ pickups are modern extensions of the coveted Guild HB-1 oversized humbuckers, built in a traditional size humbucker with Alnico V magnets. These hot-wound HB-2+ pickups bring an assortment of boutique quality tones with loads of character and voice. The Polara Deluxe has traditional Guild pickup covers featuring Guild’s classic dual rail design, with 2x volume, 2x tone controls and push/pull coil splitting for maximum tonal variety.

The Polara Deluxe’s 24 ¾ inch scale length is familiar and friendly to all types of players, while the 12.5 inch radius fretboard and vintage soft U neck shape provide comfortable playability up and down the fingerboard. The Vintage Sunburst finish brings some of Guild’s hollow body aesthetics to this set neck solidbody, with a hand sprayed burst enhancing the body, neck and headstock.
