The Ibanez John Scofield JSM10 semi acoustic in Vintage Yellow Sunburst

Long time Ibanez collaborator John Scofield is a well known jazz rock guitarist. The Ibanez JSM10 is a fantastically versatile semi hollow acoustic. Although it has fairly classic appointments there is more to it. The Flamed Maple body looks looks the part. Especially with the Vintage Yellow Sunburst finish. What is different though is the use of three piece mahogany and maple for the set in body neck. Mounted to this is an ebony fretboard. This has special fretwork with rounded edges. It plays and feels great. The Super 58 pickups in the Ibanez JSM10 are vintage in tone. What makes this guitar really versatile is the Tri-Sound Switch. This works in the neck position only. The JSM ships with its own case.
