Combining top echelon Japanese construction with a frankly unbelievable price point, the Ibanez RC1720SPR Roadcore Prestige features twin soap bar pickups and an alder offset body. High quality hardware such as the Gotoh tuners mark this out as a Japanese Ibanez, but it’s the things you don’t see that make the big difference, such as the Prestige fret edge treatment and deep attention to detail and quality. We’ve only been able to secure one of these highly limited models, so this is an opportunity which won’t come around again!
Supplied in an Ibanez Hardshell case, the Ibanez RC1720SPR-AWF is now available from Merchant City Music. Visit us in our Glasgow store, where a member of staff will be happy to talk you through its features. Alternatively, buy online for fast delivery to the UK, Europe and beyond. Every guitar we sell undergoes a full professional setup before dispatch.
Ibanez RC1720SPR Roadcore Prestige in Antique White Flat
The Roadcore incorporates a classic, retro design with all the modern playability you have come to expect from Ibanez. With its string through body construction, Tight Tune bridge and bolt-on maple neck, the Roadcore RC1720SPR is inspired by classic guitar design. Yet it has been imbued with the playability and dependability for which Ibanez has become renowned. The twin Super9 pickups are unique to this guitar, lending it that classic, fat P90 sound, while the slightly thicker 1-piece RC maple neck gives the RC1720SPR more sustain than Ibanez’s usual thinner neck. Produced in highly limited numbers, the RC1720SPR is a favourite of ours, its deviation from the Ibanez norm proving a complete success.
