The Limited Edition Marshall Class 5 Black Roulette Combo features 5 watts of valve power.

Featuring two ECC83 preamp valves and a single EL84 in the power section, the Marshall Class 5 delivers pure tube tones, inspired by the Bluesbreaker. There are many low power valve amps on the market today, but few can boast the excellent tone of this little amp. Everything is controlled using treble, middle and bass. It sports a single volume control.

Classic Marshall tones in spades.

Despite the basic controls of the Marshall Class 5 Combo Black Roulette it is surprisingly versatile. At lower volumes the clean tones are excellent. Pumping up the volume a little will put the amp into crunch territory. Pushing it further again delivers excellent lead tones. There are many ways to control the Class 5 though other than the controls on the top of the amp. If you back off volume on your guitar itself the amp will start to clean up nicely. Boost and fuzz pedals can work well too. As this is the combo version you get a built in speaker. A 10 inch Custom Celestion G10F-15 has been fitted. It sounds great with lower wattage amplifiers. A handy headphones output is also included.
