Michael Kelly have given the Custom Collection Patriot Instinct the Mod Shop treatment to great effect here. This exclusive instrument features a pair of Bare Knuckle The Mule humbuckers with raw nickel covers. It also features Michael Kelly's Great 8 Boutique Mod giving you full coil taps for each pickup and eight unique sounds in total. The Mule humbuckers are hand built and voiced as faithful reproductions of the best sounding late '59 PAFs. They offer outstanding clarity and extended dynamic range with  faster response in the bass, fuller mids and better control in the high end. Even at low levels of gain, smooth harmonic feedback, full of overtones is possible, while clean sounds have depth and unmistakable vintage character. These are a premium UK made pickup that can do classic rock and some twang thanks to the coil taps.

The Michael Kelly Mod Shop Patriot Instinct is a classic single cut electric guitar with a set Mahogany neck. The solid Mahogany body is topped with a gorgeous quilted Maple top and genuine Pearl with Abalone stripe inlay. The striking Partial Eclipse finish highlights the book matched top beautifully. It's like a translucent black fade from a deep black at the base of the body to completely natural at the top. It also features a fully bound body, neck and headstock. The whole instrument screams quality and feels it too. The hardware is also top notch. Grover tuners and a strung though body Tune-O-Matic bridge make tuning stable along with the Synthetic Graphite nut.
