Ovation solves the problem with the Mod TX D-Scale guitar, engineered to be tuned in D or even lower. Designed to deliver fat, full tones in today’s popular baritone and drop tunings, this guitar is a true one-of-a-kind. With a scale length of 28-1/3”, this guitar achieves the voicing of a baritone, with the playing ease of a standard 6-string. Tuned a full step down or below, the low end is very impressive. The top is made of solid spruce with a lightweight textured black finish, and features a cutaway. The rock maple neck feels great finished in natural satin. The OP-Pro preamp and OCP-1K pickup allow this guitar’s rich deep tones to be heard by all.
