This 2019 Limited Edition Reverend Sensei RT is fitted with two of Reverend’s outstanding Revtron pickups, combined with a Bigsby B-50 vibrato. It is presented in a stunning Orange Sparkle finish, complemented by a 3-ply cream pickguard and cream binding to the body top and fretboard. Only 12 pieces have been produced in this colour, each numbered to ensure its provenance. As with every instrument we sell, all Reverend Guitars get a full pro check and setup in our Glasgow shop before dispatch.

2019 Limited Edition Reverend Sensei RT Bigsby Orange Sparkle - Classic Set Neck Guitar with Bigsby B-50 and Revtron Pickups

The Sensei RT is Reverend's take on what the classic double cutaway should be. It features a full thickness body made from solid Korina. This keeps it lightweight and well balanced with bags of sustain and resonance. The deep set neck is also made from Korina and is fitted with a 12" radius Pau Ferro fingerboard. On the fretboard you'll find 22 medium jumbo frets and pearl block inlays. It's a classic shape with a twist, as with all Reverend guitars.

This Limited Edition Sensei RT Bigsby is fitted with two of Reverend’s own Revtron pickups, hotter versions of the classic Filtertron, providing extra punch and sustain the originals lacked. Reverend’s groundbreaking bass contour control allows you to tighten up the low end, or re-voice the pickups. Variable pickup voicing at your fingertips!

Reverend’s hardware is another distinguishing factor, allowing this guitar to compete with guitars costing two to three times the amount. Pin lock tuners lock the strings in place for exceptional tuning stability and super-fast string changes. The Bigsby is fitted with another Reverend secret weapon, the “soft touch spring”. Combined with Reverend’s roller bridge, the soft touch spring completely transforms the Bigsby experience.

Another high end feature is the treble bleed circuit, which preserves the treble when you roll back the volume control. All Reverend’s are also fitted with a Pure Tone Jack. A standard jack has single contacts, but the Pure Tone jack has dual contacts for improved grip, audio signal and reliability. This is undoubtably the most dependable guitar jack available.

Reverend also uses Alpha control pots and poly caps with a +-10% rating. While typical pots / caps are +-20%, Reverend’s items are built to tighter specifications, making them more consistent. Finally, Reverend’s proprietary jack plate features four mounting screws, instead of two. The extra screws prevent the plate from tearing out of the body. Made of steel for durability, the laser etched logo adds an extra touch of class!
