Limited to just 36 pieces worldwide, this special Z-One combines the futuristic design and heavy-rock performance of the original model with an exclusive Black Sparkle finish, ebony fingerboard and distinctive Mellon Collie moon graphic on the body. Each guitar comes complete with a Reverend two-tone soft case, Certificate of Authenticity and a special-edition poster from Billy Corgan.

A Very Special Billy Corgan Signature

When Billy Corgan and Reverend's Joe Naylor developed the Z-One, the goal was to create a guitar capable of delivering the thicker, heavier tones required for some of The Smashing Pumpkins' most aggressive material. The result is a completely new double-cutaway design featuring an Alder body, deep cutaways and strategic chambering beneath the aluminium pickguard. The chambering adds resonance while reducing weight, while the Alder construction delivers a rich, resonant character with a slightly thicker and smoother voice.

For the Infinite Sadness Edition, this distinctive design is finished in a striking Black Sparkle finish and features a unique Mellon Collie moon graphic on the body. Combined with the aluminium pickguard, chrome low-profile controls and distinctive "Z" headstock icon, this is a Z-One unlike any other.

The Billy Corgan Z-One Railhammer pickups have been specifically voiced for a fat midrange, smooth top end and increased output, producing the thick, powerful rock tones Billy was looking for. The passive Bass Contour control gives you further tonal flexibility, allowing you to tighten the low end or revoice the pickups towards a more single-coil-like character. The three-way pickup selector, Volume and Tone controls give you straightforward access to a wide range of sounds.

The roasted Maple neck has a comfortable Medium Oval profile, a 25.5" scale length and 22 frets, while the 12" radius provides a familiar playing feel across the fingerboard. For the Infinite Sadness Edition, Reverend has fitted an Ebony fingerboard, adding another distinctive element to this limited-run instrument. A 41mm Boneite nut, dual-action headstock-access truss rod and Reverend Pin-Lock tuners provide a stable and reliable platform for both recording and live performance.

A string-through-body hardtail bridge with stainless steel saddles delivers a percussive attack, excellent sustain and a solid, ringing response. The Pin-Lock tuners make string changes fast and simple while providing excellent tuning stability, while Reverend's treble bleed circuit preserves high-end clarity as you roll back the volume control.
