The Reverend Reverend Decision P Bass is here presented in a Limited Edition 25th Anniversary Metallic Silver Freeze finish with Ebony fretboard and Brushed Aluminium pickguard. Built to celebrate a quarter century of cutting edge guitar and bass design, the Reverend Decision P is one of three Reverend models to receive this stunning LE finish. The Reverend Decision P is fitted with two pickups: a P-Blade in the bridge, and Jazz Bomb in the Neck. These are harnessed by Reverend’s Pickup Pan control, which allows an infinite balance between the two.

Reverend Decision P Bass in Limited Edition 25th Anniversary Metallic Silver Freeze with Ebony Fretboard

Among a roster of outstanding Reverend bass guitars, the Decision P has particularly marked itself out as an outstanding all-rounder, resulting in well-deserved popularity among bassists. It is thus an appropriate bass to complete the 25th Anniversary trio, sharing the same stunning Metallic Silver Freeze finish as the Sensei Jr. and Six Gun HPP guitars. As with every Reverend, it utilises Korina for its body wood, with bolt on Five-Piece Roasted Maple Neck. The result is supreme stability and musicality, combined with Korina’s consistency and light weight.

Joe Naylor-designed pickups, with Pickup Pan Control

The Decision P Bass 25th Anniversary model packs a P-Blade neck pickup and Jazz Bomb bridge pickup, both designed by Reverend’s chief instrument designer, Joe Naylor. Hugely respected in the industry, Joe is the brains behind the Reverend project. These two distinctly different pickups are harnessed to a pickup pan control, allowing you to go from funk to thump and all points in-between with the twist of one knob. The Reverend Decision P is very versatile!

Road-ready Hardware

Reverend has developed a reputation for building outstandingly hardy gigging instruments. A big part of this capability is the quality of components fitted to every Reverend.

Reverend's Boneite nut reduces friction whilst still transferring the tone of the strings through the bass. It's more durable than graphite whilst having a more traditional tone and appearance. The High Mass Bridge can be strung through body or top loaded. Hipshot Ultralight tuners made of aircraft grade aluminium make them extra-light. The difference in weight can be as much as 2-3oz less in the headstock, which means a more balanced bass that’s more comfortable to play. And the tone is great! The bass is more defined and enhanced with the Hipshot Ultralites.

Pure-Tone Jack Socket, and +-10% Pots / Caps

Reverend’s proprietary jack plate features four mounting screws, instead of two. The extra screws prevent the plate from tearing out of the body. Made of steel for durability, the laser etched logo adds an extra touch of class. This is combined with a Pure Tone jack socket for ultimate dependability. A standard jack has single contacts, but the Pure Tone jack has dual contacts for improved grip, audio signal and reliability. This is the most reliable jack available.

Reverend also use Alpha control pots with a +-10% rating. While a typical pot is +-20%, Reverend’s pots are built to tighter specifications, making them more consistent. Reverend’s caps are also rated +-10%, while a typical cap is +-20%. Made of polyester, they’re also longer lasting, and less affected by temperature than cheaper ceramic caps.

These upgrades are typically used in expensive boutique basses, but are standard issue in all Reverends, including this Decision P in 25th Anniversary Metallic Silver Freeze.
