Reverend Double Agent OG Korina Burst

Reverend really nailed it with the Double Agent OG. It's a simple electric guitar with a fantastic pickup combination. The HA5 bridge humbucker set in to the Korina body gives you plenty of punch and drive. Switch on to the Alnico P90 neck pickup and you've got a smooth clear, open tone with slightly less hum than most other P90's. When you combine both of these pickups you've got a unique depth-meets-twang tone unlike anything else! The onboard bass contour control allows you to dial out the lower frequencies which really transforms the sound of the instrument. The solid Korina body is light weight and resonant. The beautiful new Korina Burst finish allows you to see the natural Korina wood in the centre of the body fading to black around the edges. 

The Korina Burst Double Agent OG has a Roasted Maple Neck

The Reverend Double Agent OG Korina Burst features a gorgeous roasted Maple neck. Roasted Maple has many benefits over an unroasted Maple neck. The Maple is heat treated at temperatures over 300 degrees Fahrenheit to remove sugars, moisture, and other impurities. This not only give the Maple a beautiful rich caramel colour and allows the grain to really pop, but also makes it far more stable thanks to the lower moisture content. That means your neck can handle different environments better without requiring adjustment. The roasting process also makes the neck lighter and more resonant which you can really feel as you play. The neck almost feels 'alive' in your hands. Perhaps best of all is how good these necks feel in the palm of your hand. They have such a smooth and silky feel to them thanks in part to an ultra fine satin lacquer. In our opinion these are some of the best guitar necks around at any price point. There isn't a neck that comes close for this price.

Pau Ferro fingerboard

The Pau Ferro fingerboard featured on this Double Agent OG is Reverend’s replacement for Rosewood. This upgraded fingerboard wood is almost indistinguishable from Rosewood. It’s very smooth and looks, feels, and sound terrific. Fitted to the 12" fingerboard are 22 medium jumbo frets. Reverend’s fret work is second to none in this price range. They are highly polished and perfectly level meaning you can get the action nice and low without any issues. A real joy to play on!

Road worthy hardware

The Double Agent OG sports the tried and tested tune-o-matic bridge with stop bar tailpiece. Quality locking tuners not only keep tuning incredibly stable but also make changing strings a breeze. Reverend's Boneite nut has the slippery self lubricating properties of graphite with the tone transfer of bone, a win-win! Another new Reverend innovation can be found on the headstock; the triple string tree. This new string tree gives the E, B and G strings the perfect break angle over the nut. Pair all of this with upgraded pots, capacitors and a very satisfying 'clunk' from the new Pure Tone multi-contact jack socket and you've got a tour-grade guitar ready for the stage or studio night after night.
