Reverend Kyle Shutt Signature 3-Tone Burst

The Reverend Kyle Shutt Signature 3-Tone Burst has an amazing list of features that makes it unique amongst the Reverend guitar range. Starting with the body, the Kyle Shutt Signature is based on Reverend's Manta Ray platform. The semi-hollow Korina body is capped off with a solid Maple top and no f-hole. Inside is a larger than usual centre block which is offset to the bass side for tighter lows and extra sustain. It's a clever trick which you can feel even before plugging in.

Railhammer Kyle Shutt Signature pickups

Kyle Shutt has collaborated with Railhammer and come up with his very own signature pickups for the KS1 guitar. The bridge humbucker features output and clarity similar to the Hyper Vintage, but with a slightly smoother treble and thicker tone overall. The result is a unique and versatile humbucker, that excels for fat cleans, classic crunch or high gain/fuzz riffing. The neck pickup is a Humcutter style which is effectively a P90 with zero hum.  Based on the Nuevo 90 with increased output so it matches up tone and volume-wise with the Kyle Shutt Signature bridge humbucker. Raw and extra fat P90 tone with no hum! Another Reverend first is the 4-knob control layout. This offers a separate volume control for each pickup, a master tone control and the excellent Reverend bass contour control. This all adds up to an amazingly versatile tone palate.

Full binding and mother of pearl inlays

The Reverend Kyle Shutt Signature 3-Tone Burst features full body binding front and back along with a bound neck and headstock. The split block inlays resemble the 'Diver Down' sign in reference to Kyle's love for diving! Another nice touch is the use of mother of pearl for the Reverend name and logo on the headstock. It all looks very classy against the gloss 3-Tone Burst finish and chrome hardware. A Tune-O-Matic with Stop Tail bridge and Reverend Pin-Lock machine heads keep tuning rock solid. The new Boneite nut has both the appearance and tonal transfer of traditional bone but with the self lubricating properties of graphite.
