Reverend Six Gun TL in Army Green

The Reverend Six Gun has a very familiar strat layout with a few tricks up its sleeve to set it apart from your dad’s old guitar. The custom Reverend Talnico bridge pickup provides characteristically early-‘50s tone, but with a thicker twang and no harshness. The Salnico middle and neck pickups are warmer sounding than what you might expect. The middle pickup on the Reverend Six Gun is Reverse Wind Reverse Polarity for hum-cancelling when used with bridge or neck pickups. If you're looking for a more traditional tone then the bass contour control just needs to be rolled off giving you a much leaner and thinner vintage character. The pickups are wired to a 5-way switch with a volume, tone and the bass contour control. This makes the Reverend Six Gun a lot more versatile than a traditional guitar of its type.

Roasted Maple Neck

The Six Gun TL is fitted with Reverend’s famously comfortable roasted maple neck. Literally roasted, this stunning wood is darker in colour than non-roasted maple, with a beautiful caramel hue which really sets it apart. The benefits aren’t just aesthetic, though. Roasting the wood stabilises it, removing moisture and impurities. This results in superior resonance and tone transfer alongside better intonation and tuning stability. The medium profile neck with 12” radius fretboard is quick-playing, while the 22 jumbo frets are beautifully polished, allowing the strings to sit low, facilitating fluid leads and easy bends.

Reverend use a Korina solid body on the Six Gun. It's a medium to light weight wood which is highly resonant and produces a lively response. The offset Army Green body is sleek and comfortable with great neck access to the upper frets. The bridge on the Reverend Six Gun TL is a Wilkinson WVS50 IIK tremolo. This trem offers superb tuning stability especially when combined with the Reverend locking tuners and boneite nut.
