Rickenbacker 4003S’s are rare. We sometimes have to wait years before new stock is built and becomes available. This Autumnglo version is ultra rare! Limited Edition UK-only release makes this a rather special instrument. As well as a stunning satin Autumnglo finish, this LE model has been upgraded with “Cooker” style knobs and a “Toaster” pickup in the neck position for warmer humbucker tones. It also comes with a vintage tone control (accessed via a push/pull switch on the treble tone knob), which adds bite and crispness.

The Rickenbacker 4003S Autumnglo is elegantly simple, with an unmistakable curved body and Rosewood fingerboard. The 4003S comes with no-nonsense white dot inlays on the fretboard, and has a single jack input. This latest version eliminates the bridge pickup cover and surrounding void, maintaining the classic aesthetic of the original assembly. In place of the removed cover, a thumb rest has been added for finger-style players.
