Seymour Duncan Silver Lake Dynamic Reverb Pedal

The Seymour Duncan Silver Lake contains eight beautifully crafted reverb algorithms, a tone shaping controls and Dynamic Expression control. Classic Room, vintage Spring sounds, or massive Plates and Halls are all featured, alongside special effect modes like Shimmer, Swell, Gated and Delay/Verb.

Reverb sounds can be further modified by utilising the Damp knob (to darken the tone of the reverb), the Grit control (to add some saturation for lo-fi and shoegaze sounds) and the Tweak knob (for gorgeous chorus or vibrato on the echoed signal, as well as Lo Pass and Hi Pass Filters).

The Dynamic Expression control allows you to alter how Silver Lake reacts to your picking attack in real time. One can alter the Mix, Modulation or Damping settings on the fly, according to the way you play. For example, by selecting Mix, you can set the pedal to a subtle reverb when you play normally that will expand into massive soundscapes when you play gently, or vice versa. Depending on how you set the various controls, picking hard or picking soft will produce infinite variations on the sounds. It is interactive, intuitive and (most importantly) always musical.

Everything you need to create your reverb tone well laid out on the front panel. There is no fiddly scrolling through menus or external programming required. Simply twist a knob and tweak your sound. Silver Lake provides the instant response that we associate with more traditional guitar gear.

With its capability for so many great sounds, Seymour Duncan have made it fully programmable. Patches can be easily saved and recalled in an instant, either by using the onboard buttons or via MIDI.  With 128 presets as well as MIDI In and Through, it can be fully integrated into any rig for any level of performance.

Featuring stereo ins and outs, the Silver Lake is compatible with an array of live and studio applications and facilitates massive, expansive stereo imaging, powered by a 24-bit/48kHz digital processor. It also comes with a micro-USB port enabling you to connect to its Updater/Librarian software.  This allows you to download firmware updates, name and save your favourite presets to your computer and even trade patches with fellow users and more. The bright alpha-numeric display makes it easy to see which patch is loaded, both on a dark stage or in bright sunlight.
