As with all Sigma guitars, it also prioritises the features which make a guitar play and sound good. A key element is the solid Mahogany soundboard. The sound board is the part of the guitar which vibrates the most; being solid wood enables the guitar to sound better with age and playing, rather than deteriorating, as with a laminate top. Similarly, Sigma use a bone nut and saddle. This traditional material is still the best for transferring the strings’ vibrations onto that solid wood soundboard, maximising the guitar’s volume and tonal quality.

The 000M-15 features a traditional 000-sized body, smaller than a dreadnought and very comfortable to play while seated. It produces a balanced sound, perfect for fingerpicking, while the mahogany tone woods emphasise the mid-range.
