As usual for Sigma, the RM-140+ Resonator punches well above its price point in terms of quality. Uniquely for the price, it is fitted with the higher quality Czech cone, also used in higher end American-made instruments, rather than a cheaper Chinese cone. The result is noticeably better tone than other instruments at the same price point. Now in stock here at Merchant City Music, pop into our Glasgow store if you'd like to give it a play! Alternatively, buy online for speedy delivery to the UK and Europe. It will receive a full professional set-up before it goes out the door.

Sigma RM-140+ Resonator With superior Czech cone

Pick up and play the RM140+ Resonator and you immediately become aware of why these instruments were originally produced. The volume is really big, while the distinctive resonator tone which kept them in use long after electric amplification solved the volume deficit in standard acoustic guitars is still there, alive and well!

Utilising traditional wooden-bodied construction with twin f-holes, fit and finish is of the highest quality. The all-mahogany body is fitted with a round-profile neck, topped with a Micarta fretboard. A bone nut ensures the best possible resonance transfer from the D'Addario strings, while attractive and high quality open-geared Grover tuners are both smooth and stable. The RM140 Resonator is a really fun instrument to have in-store, and one that is sure to become a valuable asset in any blues, country or bluegrass player's arsenal!
