Fender Special Edition '70s Precision Bass Natural
Fender's Precision Bass is the instrument which first made bass accessible to the masses, designed to be held like a guitar rather than standing upright, and fitted with frets to make it easier to play. It was a hit, and Fender hasn't stopped making it since. The '70s likewise heralded an explosion in musical innovation, with Fender right at the forefront. This Special Edition Precision Bass is designed to evoke this period in Fender's history, and it does so spectacularly.
In terms of appointments, black binding, fretboard markers, and three-ply black-white-black pickguard are perfectly set off by the natural gloss finish to the ash body and maple neck. The American Vintage '62 Split Single-Coil pickup faithfully produces that classic P-Bass sound as only Fender can. The '70s "C" shaped neck means it both feels and plays as it should. This fantastically evocative instrument additionally comes supplied with a deluxe Fender gig bag, for easy transportation to and from gigs.
